The ‘Elementary’ tag just repels me.
The nastiness is just awful. We all love Sherlock Holmes, so can’t we get along?
The pilot hasn’t even aired yet. I think we could all be in agreement that it has potential: either to be shitty or great. I am repulsed by my own fandom, with people tearing apart people that think Elementary will be good or attacking the actors. Particularly Johnny Lee Miller. Benedict has said he doesn’t care, so why should we?
And then there’s the other side, which is equally nasty. People who are wont to dislike Elementary annoy you? That’s their prerogative. It might push your buttons a little bit, but insulting the entire fandom because of a handful of people isn’t right. Saying you pictured Watson as a caucasian male doesn’t not make you racist. I personally always pictured Watson as a caucasian male because they live in England in the 19th century. It makes sense. I’m open to Joan. But I don’t think someone’s being disgusting or racist if they aren’t.

If you follow our blog you’ll probably have seen that on May 25th our recreation of the H.O.U.N.D shirt seen in Sherlock series 2 goes on sale at qwertee.com for 2 days! Because there is only a 48 hour window in which to buy the shirt we want as many people to know about it as possible so they don’t miss out on the chance to grab themselves one. The shirt is currently available in colour at our RedBubble store but the vintage black and white version will only ever be sold on Qwertee so this really is your only chance to get one!
